We are looking for a Senior SAP Technical Consultant to join our Digital Core & Technologies practice. This role will be embedded in a long-term engagement with a leading automotive client, supporting SAP system enhancements, interfaces, and production stability across logistics, finance, HR, and brand operations. The ideal candidate will be an experienced ABAP developer and interface expert, capable of owning technical deliverables from design through deployment and support.
This is a 100% onsite role based in Chattanooga, TN
Responsibilities
Act as the SAP Technical SME and primary technical contact for support, enhancements, incident management, and audits within the client's SAP landscape.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ABAP solutions across SAP modules: SD, MM, IM, WM, FICO, and EH&S.
Enhance and troubleshoot interfaces using IM3 SAP Interface Manager and SAP global templates.
Lead the resolution of performance and production issues, including cross-functional coordination.
Perform and support testing activities including unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Partner with functional consultants and client stakeholders to translate business needs into effective SAP technical solutions.
Drive conformance to global SAP development standards and contribute to technical documentation and project reporting.
Support integrations with external systems such as Kronos, Fieldglass, tax platforms, SOA services, and TSIM.
Utilize IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) for job scheduling.
Contribute to implement lifecycle activities from blueprint to post-go-live stabilization.
