MISSION
The Market Research Team plays a strategic role both at central and regional levels. The Senior Market Researcher will be responsible for leading end-to-end research projects — from the initial concept and survey implementation to data analysis, reporting, and presentation of findings. The core objective of this role is to support business and product development by providing actionable insights that guide strategic and tactical decisions. The value added is measured by the clarity, relevance, and impact of how research outcomes are delivered to stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Translate complex business needs into clear and concise research briefs for external agencies
- Identify and recommend the most suitable research methodologies and techniques based on project objectives
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team to select the most appropriate research agency, considering methodology, timelines, and budget constraints
- Design and manage both qualitative and quantitative research plans to address specific business questions
- Oversee the development of research instruments, including questionnaires and moderator guides
- Review and validate analyses and reports provided by agencies to ensure accuracy, strategic relevance, and actionable insights for internal stakeholders
- Communicate research findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels, including Senior Management, ensuring insights are impactful, clear, and aligned with business objectives
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets and extract actionable insights
- Proven experience with qualitative research methods (e.g., in-depth interviews, online diaries, focus groups)
- Experience managing external research agencies and partners
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of SPSS and advanced statistical techniques (e.g., cluster analysis) is a plus
- Master’s Degree in Statistics, Sociology, Psychology, Social Sciences, or Business Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Research, ideally as a Senior Project Manager within a B2C company or a research agency
- Background in the automotive or luxury goods sectors preferred
- Full professional proficiency in English and Italian; other languages are a plus
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly and persuasively to all levels, including senior executives
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
- Naturally curious and creative, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally for international business needs
