Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Signage Installer to execute a variety of installation projects for printed materials across campus. This role requires specialized experience in vinyl printing, installation, and applications, including wall, window, floor, and vehicle graphics—as well as support for general signage and display installations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, can read and interpret installation specifications, and collaborates well with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements & Essential Functions:
· ?Install a variety of printed materials including adhesive vinyl graphics, banners, signs, dimensional lettering, and displays on diverse surfaces such as walls, windows, vehicles, floors, and signage substrates.
· Perform surface preparation and ensure proper application techniques for long-lasting, professional installations.
· Collaborate with the print shop team to plan and schedule installations, ensuring alignment with project deadlines and client expectations.
· Interpret install drawings, mockups, and job specs to ensure accurate placement and quality standards.
· Operate and maintain installation tools such as squeegees, heat guns, ladders, lifts, and cutting tools.
· Conduct site surveys when necessary to assess surfaces, take measurements, and identify access or preparation needs.
· Assist with on-campus installations, often in coordination with facilities or external vendors.
· Support general print shop operations when installation workload allows, including finishing, packaging, or delivery assistance.
· Follow safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment during installation activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong understanding of installation tools, materials, and best practices.
· Ability to read and execute install layouts or production drawings.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
· Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; create and build positive and productive relationships.

Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of hands-on experience in vinyl installation, including wall, window, and vehicle graphics.
· Familiarity with large-format printing workflows and collaboration with print production teams.
· Experience with ADA signage, dimensional installs, or environmental graphics preferred.
Physical Demand & Work Environments:
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to stand, climb, crouch, and use ladders or lifts as needed.
· Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
· Occasional early morning, evening, or weekend installations may be required.
· Exposure to ink fumes and handling of print substrates (with provided protective equipment).
· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during printing operation and / or events.
