The Expansion Project Coordinator works within the Strategic Development Department to support international expansion projects, particularly in Asian markets. They provide operational coordination for international travel documents (IDPs and CPDs), member support, and the management of strategic initiatives in targeted areas. In constant contact with internal and external stakeholders, they actively contribute to the visibility, effectiveness, and legitimacy of the services offered globally.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Lead the FIA's expansion into new mobility and tourism markets, actively contributing to the deployment of projects in China, Hong Kong and Macao, in compliance with international conventions.
Coordinate relations with member clubs, public authorities, international partners and FIA management.
Represent the FIA at international conferences and working groups, including UN Working Group 1 on Road Safety.
Organize and supervise major events (global conferences, official visits, media actions), in conjunction with stakeholders such as the Chinese Embassy, UNECE, NIO, ISO, etc.
Contribute to strategic communication by co-writing the China newsletter for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide operational support to members for the management of IDP and CPD documents, and resolve issues related to their use.
Monitor the progress of expansion projects: milestones, deliverables, analyses, recommendations and reporting.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (legal, communications, IT, etc.) to ensure the effectiveness of international initiatives.
PROFILE:
Master's level degree, ideally with a specialization in the sports industry.
Excellent command of Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
A good knowledge of institutional actors in China, government entities and Chinese federations is highly appreciated.
Previous experience in a similar role, in an international environment, is an asset.
