About The Role:
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn more and work in a fast-paced Procurement function where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to work within the Purchasing Department covering the end-to-end procurement process within the Direct and Indirect Purchasing Teams on 3–6 month rotations allowing you to develop your knowledge, skills and understanding whilst contributing to the Team’s Procurement goals. This post is part of a formal apprenticeship programme that includes the CIPS Level 3 Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations.
This Apprenticeship will take part at our Campus in Brackley working towards Procurement & Supply, where the programme is delivered online via weekly interactive training will be mostly delivered online as well as self-study. You must have a passion for your own development as this programme is delivered online via weekly interactive learning sessions with a CIPS trainer and monthly one-to-one coaching with an experienced procurement coach. You will have full access to CIPS online resources and peer to peer learning is facilitated with other procurement learners.
Key Skills to be Developed:
Be able to demonstrate the skills learnt by increasingly working independently, being involved in and ultimately running tenders and negotiating with suppliers
Monitor and develop suppliers’ performance
Developing stakeholder relationships across the business.
Proactively liaising between suppliers and stakeholders to resolve purchasing supply issues
Ensure an accurate delivery status for Purchase orders
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will have:
A strong interest in procurement, combined with a curiosity to understand how it works in a Formula 1 environment.

Has the ability to plan and organise work using own initiative
Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
Our Level 3 apprenticeships require the following:
You must have an existing and valid right to work for the duration of the apprenticeship in the UK. Applicants who require a visa to work in the UK should be aware that our apprenticeships are ineligible for sponsorship.
Availability to complete the level 3 apprenticeship up to a 42-month duration
Evidence of having been resident in the UK for 3 years prior to taking up the apprenticeship in September this year or candidates who qualify for an exemption as stated here: Apprenticeship funding rules - GOV.UK
At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) with results of 5 and above. Please note that three of the GCSEs must be Maths, Science and English.
We will check you meet the criteria as part of the application process as this will need to be evidenced before you can start the programme.
