About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Headcount Financial Analyst to join our Finance team on a Fixed Term Contract until March 2026. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of time booking data and compliance in line with the FIA Financial Regulations.
Working collaboratively with the Headcount Finance Business Partner, you will provide insight and support to stakeholders to achieve targets and provide interim Finance Business Partner support when required.
Responsibilities:
Ownership and maintenance of the time booking system
Help evolve the structure of the time booking system to meet changing business needs including changes in the Financial Regulations
Ensure that time booking data is complete and accurate to support the Financial Regulations with reporting to the FIA
Support the business with time booking topics to ensure continual education
Identify and monitor completeness of data
Report on findings and raise queries to FinOps & Fin Regs Management Team
Support departmental reporting requirements relating to time bookings
Ensure the time booking data to accurately calculate and post into SAP the NF1 recoveries. Leverage Alteryx to ensure a time efficient process.
Support the FBP’s with apportionment topics, rolling forecast, and information on headcount topics to identify risk and opportunities
Provide accurate and timely reporting for interim and final Financial Regulations submissions.
Provide time booking insight and analysis to stakeholders to help inform and steer business decisions
Review and ensure the integrity of the weekly NF1 report and the detailed headcount variance report as an “anytime”, self-serve resource.
Support the Finance Business Partners with insight from the time booking resources to ensure they are well placed to help the business meet planning targets
Support the FBPs & business stakeholder with the transition to the 2026 Financial Regulation.
Regularly review report formats and content and evolve as required to meet business requirements. Develop proficiency with Power BI and Alteryx so reports can be developed with minimal reliance on IT and the Transformation Team
Support and deputise for the Headcount FBP team leader as required
Represent Fin Ops on headcount & HR topics in meetings when required.
Support the month end close process as required
Interim finance business partner support, including month end close topics and working with specific business areas to manage cost centre spend.
To be successful you will have:
Good understanding of accounting principles and implications of decisions – CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
Experience of analysing and interpreting large volumes of financial data
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation
Strong Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Ability to work accurately in a fast moving, performance-oriented environment and to be agile and flexible in approach
Ideally have experience in Spotfire reporting, Power BI report creation and maintenance, and Alteryx process automation
