General Purpose
- Manage D2C business for range of categories
- Responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales, margin, and inventory goal
- Lead product sales, campaigns and promotions, and act as an internal stakeholder between D2C and other relevant departments
Position Summary, Responsibilities And Expectations
- Plan and develop online D2C sales strategies that drive sales, margin and inventory goals
- Translate ideas into profitable, promotional marketing programs
- Collaborate with Channel Marketing, Go-To-Market and other teams to seamlessly launch products and campaigns
- Expand traffic channels (SEO, PPC, Email) and continuously grow online conversions
- Continuously monitor and adjust sales forecast based on historical performance and market trends to ensure in-stock position
- Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to drive internal initiatives that meet and exceed sales goals
- Develop and update category and SKU sales forecasts and closely monitor sell-throughs
- Regularly track and report on sales performance, profitability, discount rate, bundle performance, and other key metrics
- Manage Fanatec’s D2C stores globally, providing sales forecasts, inventory monitoring, promotion updates, and collaboration with regional sales teams to ensure smooth operations
- Work closely with other team members to enhance Fanatec D2C platform experience
Essential Skills And Experience
- 5-7+ years’ experience with digital product sales, category management or combination of digital marketing/business management/equivalent work experience, preferably with eCommerce businesses
- BS/BA in marketing, economics, business, or other technical field preferred
- Experience setting and managing to sales and margin goals using available analytics and cross-team resources
- Experience in Google Marketing Suite (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager, Search Console)
- Knowledge of the computer peripheral and hardware industry; able to understand and forecast the competitive landscapes, trends, etc
- Familiarity with sim racing hardware and/or previous experience participating in sim racing as a hobby
