Gearbox Technician
Alpine F1 Team have a unique opportunity to join our Gearbox Team. We are looking for individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence – and ultimately a championship contending team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the gearbox / transmission and associated components life cycle. This includes the assembly, service and repair of both, new and in-service gearbox assemblies and their associated components for our Race Team, Race Support Team, and various development projects (on-site and external). Additionally you will need to comply with the company systems that support our components life cycle.
You will be required to work to the highest standards and in accordance with the specifications, to ensure delivery, performance and reliability targets are met efficiently and on time.
The Person
You will have strong mechanical knowledge of building, servicing, and repairing components and have a good understanding of assembly methodologies and systems used in the industry and be competent reading technical drawings.
Having experience with gearbox and transmissions life cycle will be advantageous along with strong MS office skills in order to use our systems.
Ideally you will be flexible to travel for external events with the ability to work independently where required.
