Formula 1 and its 50 years of digital history
The Alpine Racing Operations Department is looking for its future digital data processing intern for a period of 6 months, starting in the first quarter of 2025.
Main missions:
As part of the Heritage project, which aims to restore and bring to life the legendary Formula 1 engines of the Renault brand, our team needs to structure and rationalize the numerous data in digital and paper format (50 years of documentation).
In collaboration with the site's IT department, the first subject will be to study a solution for backing up, exporting or transferring the contents of the assembly database of our old (1989 to 2000) "PowerBuilder" engines which is at the end of its life.
The second topic concerns other .pdf .xls .word .jpeg documents for which it is a question of finding and testing methodologies to concatenate the data and make them more digitally exploitable (sharepoint/ AI/ Google photo/ Search engine...)

In the assembly workshop, you will be able to experience the repair of several engines and test the performance of the IT solutions provided.
