We are looking for an experienced, senior leader to join IT as Head of Enterprise Platforms. Our technical landscape is mid-transformation and as a result, we're looking for a knowledgeable, influential team member to drive the digital transformation of our core business systems, optimising and integrating PLM and ERP
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the modernisation, development and implementation of ERP, PLM and the systems and technology, ensuring that they are aligned with our business goals and optimised for efficiency, effectiveness, and value. You will lead a team of ERP & PLM professionals and collaborate with other senior leaders to drive innovation and digital transformation throughout our organisation.
This role would suit a seasoned leader influencing and advising stakeholders in their technology decisions and strategies; alongside tackling and transforming a fragmented legacy estate. In collaboration with along with rationalisation of 1000s of applications across a FTSE 100 company; with a remit to drive consistency and enterprise buy-in and adoption whilst continuing to shape platforms unique to each agency cluster that will enable business growth.
What will you be doing?
Lead a team of ERP & PLM professionals, including functional and technical consultants, solution architects, scrum master, analysts and support personnel
Set performance goals, provide leadership and guidance, and ensure that the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to deliver work to the highest standards
Collaborate within IT and the wider Team to develop and execute ERP & PLM strategies which align with business goals and the technology strategy of the organisation
Build and maintain open business platforms that enable seamless integration with other systems, partners and consumers across the organisation
Support products managers in planning, coordinating, forecasting, tracking and managing resources across projects, business as usual and change requests, adhering to internal processes and systems
Ensure that ERP & PLM systems are optimised for efficiency, effectiveness, and value to the organisation
Own and manage stakeholder relationships from shop floor to C-Suite ensuring regular communication is maintained
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure oversight of the latest developments in technology, products, services and licencing agreements
Ensure that systems are compliant with relevant regulations and security standards
Ensure monitoring and reporting of the performance of core systems and technology, is in place, using data to recommend improvements and optimisation
Develop and manage budgets for ERP/PLM related projects and activities
Skills Required
An engaging, influential, inspiring leader who can articulate their vision and motivate large, cross functional matrix teams
A self-motivated leader with a keen eye for detail who takes great pride and satisfaction in getting things done
Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant or related field
Demonstrable experience leading a team of ERP professionals, responsible for full lifecycle management of an ERP platform, preferably in an enterprise environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and business sponsors
Leadership knowledge of ERP/PLM products and platform and how they interoperate to deliver business value – preferably D365 & 3DX
Proven experience in leading high-performing teams and delivering exceptional results.
Knowledge of ITIL or any other relevant service, delivery, or quality management frameworks.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with continual demands and changing priorities.
A creative problem solver who is not afraid to try new things to deliver better outcomes.
Maintain oversight of progress against IT’s operational KPIs, liaising between different teams/ parts of the organization to drive efficiencies.
Oversee and participate as an escalation point to IT incidents and participates in an IT on-call rotation.
Excellent planning, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
