We have an opportunity for a Head of Mechanical Design to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will be responsible for providing company leadership in mechanical design and processes and to provide support and guidance to the senior designers within the mechanical design group. Principal Accountabilities
Management and responsibility for the Mechanical Design Team
To ensure the car’s suspension and other mechanical; systems meet the requirements of the car specification.
Prepare schemes of major car systems for analysis and detail design
To provide technical support to the mechanical designers and ensure best design practice is achieved.
Support the design group to meet the overall performance and delivery targets.
To provide technical support for manufacturing.
To support the development of future cars working with the other Heads of design departments
To champion sustainable manufacture without sacrificing car performance.
