As a Customer Support Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive prompt and effective technical support, as well as contribute to product testing efforts. In addition to resolving customer issues, answering inquiries, and providing guidance on our products and services, you will be responsible for conducting product testing to ensure high-quality performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate is a customer-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills, a passion for delivering exceptional support, and a keen eye for detail when it comes to product testing.
This role is based at our Buckingham office. You will be supplied with the tools and training to do the job.
Your Responsibilities:
• Has worked in or studied the OEM automotive or Motorsport industries and has had some experience of vehicle data analysis, vehicle testing or race data analysis/telemetry.
• A clear, concise writing technique and a polite telephone manner.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to troubleshooting.
• A positive attitude and good team working skills.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
Desired additional skills:
• Proven experience in a customer support role, preferably in a technology-related industry.
• An understanding of vehicle data acquisition techniques.
• Exposure to vehicle CAN and GPS technologies.
• Experience with product testing methodologies and tools.
• Basic electronics knowledge.
• Candidates will be required to undertake a basic online aptitude test and may be asked to complete a Belbin® Self Perception Inventory to understand their team role as part of the interview process.
