Team Penske is seeking a highly responsible and professional Class A CDL Transport Driver to support our motorsports team by transporting and helping operate our hospitality trailer. This trailer serves as a premium space for hosting sponsors, partners, and VIP guests during race weekends. The ideal candidate has experience in professional driving, can manage physical tasks during set up and teardown, and maintains a high level of professionalism on and off the road.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport the hospitality trailer to all scheduled race events, arriving on time for load-in and setup.
Ensure compliance with all DOT, DMV, and applicable state and federal transportation regulations.
Accurately complete all required driver logs, records, and expense reports per company guidelines.
Position and park the trailer in designated locations to accommodate full setup (generator, HVAC units, restroom trailer, etc.).
Assist in full trackside setup, operation, and teardown of the hospitality unit as outlined in standard procedures.
Secure all equipment and supplies during transit to prevent damage.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues including power, water, AV/satellite, HVAC, propane systems, and kitchen utilities.
Coordinate or perform emergency and routine repairs to truck, trailer, tent, and equipment as needed while on the road.
Support maintenance and improvements of all transport and hospitality equipment between races.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance of both vehicle and self, representing the team positively to guests and partners.
Availability for additional duties at the shop or track, as assigned by management, outside of DOT-mandated rest periods.
Qualifications:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate, or ability to obtain one.
Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
Strong work ethic with a professional demeanor and appearance.
Prior motorsports experience is preferred; motorcoach or RV driving experience is also considered.
Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, maneuvering in tight spaces, and standing, squatting, or kneeling for extended periods.
Willing and able to work weekends and travel for the full racing schedule.
Must be available to assist in shop-based tasks between races when needed.
