A fantastic opportunity for an Event Director to join MKTG S+E to support one of our Formula 1 (F1) sponsors in end-to-end strategy, planning, and delivery of premium hospitality and sponsorship activations. Role Purpose As Director, Hospitality Events, you will lead the end-to-end strategy, planning, and delivery of premium hospitality and sponsorship activations for one of the worlds most recognizable global brands within the Formula 1 (F1) landscape. This role is focused on ensuring each event reflects the sponsors objectives and provides exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced events and F1 professional to take their skills to the global stage and youll be at the center of bringing the sponsors brand to life at some of the most exciting motorsport events in the world. In this role, youll work closely with client contacts, agency teammates both in Europe, US and across the globe, and operational partners to ensure every detail from sponsorship asset management to guest experience is delivered to the highest standard. Youll thrive in a fast-paced, international event environment, traveling to race destinations and ensuring each activation is seamless, memorable, and aligned with the sponsors objectives. Plan, manage, and deliver the sponsors global Formula 1 hospitality program, ensuring consistent quality and brand alignment Provide strategic guidance to the client on event concepts, program design, and execution plans, overseeing all phases of event delivery including logistics, guest experience design, venue selection and contracting, supplier management, at-track operations, and budget oversight Lead the planning and execution of site surveys, ensuring all logistical, operational, and brand requirements are met, while managing complex budgets and overseeing all event branding, collateral, and on-site materials Oversee the onsite delivery of corporate hospitality programs with a primary focus on Formula 1, ensuring all experiences meet brand standards and exceed guest expectations Manage and direct on-site vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with client and company policies, operational excellence, and safety standards Develop and deliver client-ready event documentation including itineraries, staffing plans, run-of-show schedules, and post-event recaps with actionable insights Lead client conference calls, meetings, and design and prepare communications and presentations and manage and communicate project status with account leads, internal team and clients Identify opportunities for business growth and recommend new strategies to clients and company What you bring Proven Formula 1 event experience, with a deep understanding of the operational, logistical, and brand integration requirements unique to motorsport Extensive knowledge of the global events industry, with strong insight into the sports, sponsorship, and premium hospitality sectors Significant track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from strategy through to delivery, with exceptional client relationship management skills Expertise in corporate hospitality program management, including the ability to negotiate and manage a range of suppliers (FB, creative services, signage, audio-visual, transportation, and other event infrastructure) Strategic thinker with the ability to translate client objectives into practical, high-quality solutions, providing informed counsel to both clients and suppliers Strong financial management skills, including budget creation, forecasting, reconciliation, and proven success in overseeing large-scale budgets with close attention to detail Adept at working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with shifting priorities, while maintaining precision and quality in delivery Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging confidently with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams A few of the benefits Youll have a great compensation package, private health dental insurance, corporate discounts and career development through Dentsu University, and free access to LinkedIn learning 29+ days of annual leave (25 days of regular holidays, birthdays off and 3 additional wellness days) We also offer the opportunity to volunteer for up to 2 days per year and tend to close down the agency between Christmas and New Years Youll have a hybrid working schedule, with flexible start/end hours Inclusion and Diversity At Dentsu, we embrace diversity and inclusion, valuing the unique perspectives and contributions of every individual.
