Tasks

The logistics and workshops of the Weissach Development Center ensure the efficient, timely, and high-quality supply of prototype vehicles and development parts. Well-thought-out IT processes ensure that vehicle studies are carried out according to plan and that prototype vehicles can be designed, developed, and built more transparently. Our partners include all development departments of the Weissach Development Center, external development sites, pilot production lines, and test sites worldwide. The Processes and Digitalization department acts as the interface between Logistics, the workshops, and central IT, responsible for the system-based and process-based networking of the relevant areas. During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working environment and support us with, for example, the following activities:

Support and administration of existing IT solutions for the development workshops and logistics, as well as material planning processes. Analysis, evaluation, and design of strategic and operational processes Technical design of new IT applications using modern software development methods, particularly Industry 4.0 approaches. Close collaboration in project teams with our IT experts, project management, and users from the various development areas. Tracking and documenting the project progress of individual work packages of ongoing projects with regard to deadlines, costs, and quality.
