About the Role:
The Business Analyst role sits within the Shareholder Relations Function of MGP’s Finance Department and is integral to supporting the operations of MGP’s Shareholder Relations Function. The scope of the position includes business reporting and analysis responsibilities, as well as project-based and administrative deliverables.
Key Accountabilities:
Proactively driving and owning business reporting, incl. shareholder reports, executive reports
Research and analysis, incl. extracting, analysing, and presenting key insights
Developing business presentations on financial and strategic topics
Gathering information and status updates from various internal stakeholders
Mapping, documentation, and implementation of processes
Leveraging technology for automation and efficiency of processes
Project management support
Administrative duties in a finance context
Requirements:
Business Degree or similar qualification, incl. strong financial literacy
Interest in Shareholder Relations in a privately owned company
Experience in business reporting and analysis
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Professionalism, integrity, and reliability
Analytical thinking and reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, visualisation)
Proactive and adaptable in a dynamic business environment
Team player and collaborator, comfortable interacting across functions and hierarchies
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
