Our IT team is looking for a Graduate PLM Support Engineer with the passion and determination to impact our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments. These environments drive performance through design and simulation across our business, ensuring we maintain our position as an F1 leader both on and off the track. You will have the opportunity to help shape the future of our PLM environment.
The Graduate PLM Support Engineer role sits within the PLM team and reports to the Principal PLM Support Engineer. The PLM team is responsible for supporting, implementing, integrating, and automating the organisation’s PLM toolsets, working closely with various areas across the organisation. You’ll be responsible for the operational running of our Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and PLM systems. You will be the central point of contact for support of the CAD/PLM platform for the Design Office, Operational, Aerodynamics, Manufacturing, and Non-F1 departments.

Key Accountabilities:
Provide first-line user support for CAD/PLM systems, resolving issues promptly
Administer the CAD/PLM platform, ensuring accuracy, and consistency
Support the development and refinement of support processes within the PLM environment
Conduct system testing to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with requirements
Ensure that monitoring is kept up to date and alerts are escalated as necessary
Streamline the user onboarding experience embracing automation
Administer licensing across PLM systems
Maintain and update documentation and procedures to reflect current practices and system changes
Assist in planning and executing system upgrades, including testing and user coordination
Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve system efficiency and user productivity
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate would be educated to a degree level and have a strong interest in CAD, design, methods and automation and a desire to learn new things
Demonstrate experience and interest in CAD and design methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, etc.) to streamline processes and enhance system capabilities
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users
Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
Ability to work effectively and independently as part of a team, meeting strict deadlines in a high-pressure environment
