About the Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Heritage Technician to join our Heritage Team. You will be responsible for working across multiple functions within our Formula One environment to ensure our Heritage cars are built and preserved in their agreed specification.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Working meticulously in preparing and maintaining all Mercedes F1 cars to the highest standards
Actively assisting with Heritage, Demo, and Race Team activities.
Supporting with Heritage car build operations.
Travelling worldwide supporting F1 associated events.
Working alongside our Parts Administrator to compile the extensive archive of F1 components past and present.
Representing the company and our partners to the highest standards.
What we are looking for:
An enthusiastic individual eager to learn on the job and develop towards being part of our trackside race team.
Flexibility in hours and approach is required, along with a ‘can do’ attitude in a physically demanding position.
Good inter-personal skills and an effective communicator with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Demonstrable experience working both independently and within a highly collaborative team.
Mechanical experience in a single seater racing or high-level motorsport is desirable.
Must have proven experience and competence using hand tools and measuring equipment.
Have the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Experience in PU integration and hydraulic systems is desirable.
Experience in SAP and lifing systems is desirable.
Experience in Build systems is desirable.
Proficient knowledge in Microsoft office and I.T would be an advantage.
Attention to detail is a must along with a high drive and desire to succeed in the role.
