About the Role:
We are looking for a Build Systems Assembly Technician to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Responsible for building & servicing of safety-critical car assemblies and systems ensuring that all of the procedures and quality checks are followed.
Key assemblies include Uprights & Carbon Suspension, Driver controls, Hydraulic Ride Systems, Cooling Systems, Hydraulic & Fuel manifolds, Steering, Gearbox Sub-Assemblies.
Carry out other similar skilled duties.
Ensuring builds are to latest specification.
Use SAP to create build sheets and ensure assembled components have enough available mileage to complete the planned event.
Manage, in conjunction with other team members, spares, lifting and servicing of car parts.
Assist with Non F1 customer projects.
Responsible for keeping a clean and tidy working environment in all areas within Mercedes GP Operations Centre.
