Purpose of the Role:
To competently follow predefined manufacturing processes to deliver products. Full training will be provided as part of the role.
Role Dimensions:
Overtime during certain periods of the year is essential to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Learn how to Operate SMT production machines and other equipment.
- Learn how to prepare SMT production machines prior to build.
- Learn how to Deliver production requirements by following instructions/processes.
- Learn how the Inspection process for PCB’s with AOI system during manufacture.
- Learn use of conformal coating and selective soldering machines when required.
- Fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements and company goal of achieving zero defects in accordance with ISO9001 certified quality management systems requirements.
- Training to be given in IPC-610 Class 3 to understand the manufacturing standards to adhere too.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Interest in learning all general aspects of surface mount manufacturing processes
- Training will be given to ensure guidelines are followed and machinery and equipment are operated safely.
- Basic PC skills.
- Good time management.
- Good attention to detail to allow you to maintain or exceed high levels of production standards and efficiency.
- Ability to fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements.
