We have an excellent opportunity to join our Aerodynamics team as a Model Shop Team Leader on dayshift.
Model Shop Team Leader – The Role
Jointly overseeing the running of the Modelshop on dayshift. Planning and organising the day-to-day activities, communicating efficiently to the team for programme delivery.
Manage the preparation and prefit of programmes going to the Wind tunnel to a high standard, in line with the needs of testing schedules and prefit requests.
Providing innovative suggestions for processes and systems to propel the team’s efficiency to the top of the grid.
Proactively and constructively contributing to production, resource, and design concept projects and collaborations
Scrutinising and adjusting the Modelshop resource schedules.
Fostering an effective culture of communication between shift leaders and other stakeholders across the Team
· Supporting the Deputy Production Manager and being accountable to cover when needed due to annual leave
Model Shop Team Leader – The Person
You will be a highly positive, motivated, motivational individual that has previous F1 model making experience. You will thrive under pressure, striving to lead a team of highly skilled modelmaker technicians and component part finishers.
Motivated to succeed and works well in a team environment. Enthusiastic, Proactive, flexible approach to meet programme schedules and all associated operations.
Excellent adaptable communication skills
Logical thinking, ability to organize information quickly, remaining calm and competent under time pressure.
Able to use standard Microsoft applications, company communication tools and Measuring equipment.
Ability to learn complex processes and retain knowledge. Work in ways to make the processes efficient and effective.
Deliver honest fair feedback constructively.
