Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Network and Impact Chain Expert to lead the development and optimization of network communication systems within future electrical architectures. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in automotive networking protocols, topologies, and architectures, and will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration and performance of the electrical architecture across various vehicle systems and components.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of network communication systems including CAN (Controller Area Network), LIN (Local Interconnect Network), Ethernet, and other automotive networking protocols.
Define and document network communication requirements, specifications, and interfaces considering factors such as bandwidth, latency, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with system architects, hardware engineers, and software developers to integrate network communication systems ensuring compatibility, interoperability, and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct network performance analysis, simulation, and testing to validate the functionality, reliability, and robustness of network communication systems under various operating conditions and environmental factors.
Develop and maintain impact chain models and analyzes assessing the effects of network communication disruptions or failures on vehicle performance, safety, and functionality.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders on automotive network communication systems, impact chain analysis methodologies, and best practices for electrical architecture design and development.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in automotive networking technologies, standards, and regulations, and integrate relevant innovations to enhance performance and competitiveness.
