Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving
Identify, investigate, and resolve chronic and complex quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
Conduct failure analysis and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Utilise statistical tools, SPC, and data analytics to monitor quality trends and drive improvements.
Develop and implement quality improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma principles.

Quality Systems & Compliance
Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and company quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, etc.).
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, analysis, and process improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and leadership to resolve quality issues and drive process optimization.
Participate in design and process reviews (e.g., DFMEA, PFMEA) to proactively address potential quality concerns.

Nonconformance Management
Lead investigations into nonconforming products and processes, ensuring effective disposition and resolution.
Track and report key quality metrics, implementing corrective measures to reduce defect rates and improve reliability.

Supplier & Manufacturing Support
Partner with suppliers to address chronic quality concerns, implement supplier corrective actions (SCARs), and ensure long-term quality improvements.
Support production teams in troubleshooting quality issues and optimizing manufacturing processes.

Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
Prepare and present quality reports, dashboards, and recommendations to leadership.

Risk Management & Prevention
Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning to proactively address potential quality risks.
Implement best practices for defect prevention and quality assurance in manufacturing and product development.

Training & Mentorship
Provide guidance and training to teams on quality methodologies, problem-solving techniques, and regulatory compliance.
Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across the organization.
This role is critical in ensuring long-term product reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency through the resolution of persistent and complex quality challenges.
