Position Overview: SP Motorsports is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor will act as a liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and satisfying service experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for motorsports, and a strong understanding of automotive services.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers promptly and professionally.
Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms and service needs.
Provide clear explanations of services, repairs, and estimated costs.
Maintain open communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any changes in service estimates or timing.
Service Coordination:
Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service team to ensure efficient workflow.
Prepare detailed and accurate repair orders, including pricing, timelines, and required parts.
Assist customers with warranty and service contract inquiries.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
Sales and Upselling:
Identify additional service opportunities and recommend maintenance services or repairs to customers.
Provide information on product offerings, promotions, and service packages.
Assist in achieving sales targets by promoting service and parts sales.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, service recommendations, and completed repairs.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with technicians and parts department to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
Communicate effectively with all team members to facilitate a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in automotive technology or business management is a plus.
Previous experience in a service advisor role or similar customer service position, preferably in the automotive or motorsports industry.
Strong knowledge of automotive services, products, and repair procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using computer systems and service management software.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
