Proactive and motivated Aeronautical Engineering master's student with hands-on experience in CFD analysis, thermal management, and composite design. I have contributed to cutting-edge projects, including the development of cooling systems for Hyperloop UPV and aerodynamic studies for aerospace applications at INTA. Proficient in tools like ANSYS Fluent, CATIA V5 and SolidWorks, I bring a strong foundation in fluid dynamics and a proven ability to work effectively in teams, manage technical projects, solve complex engineering challenges, and work effectively under pressure. My experience to date is the following:
- Technical Manager at European Hyperloop Week: Coordinated technical aspects of the competition, ensuring safety and smooth operations for 28 international teams. Developed competition rules, technical documents, and facilitated communication between teams, the committee, and the jury.
- Thermal Management Engineer at Hyperloop UPV: Designed and implemented the team's first Phase Change Material cooling system for low-pressure applications, capable of dissipating up to 2000 W of heat. Performed thermal simulations using ANSYS and optimized CAD models in SolidWorks, leading testing and validation procedures for safe component integration.
- CFD Engineer Intern at INTA: Conducted aerodynamic studies on hypersonic probes for Mars entry trajectories. Developed MATLAB software for CFD calculations and trajectory analysis, complementing simulations performed in ANSYS Fluent. Managed geometry and mesh generation for CFD studies with detailed post-processing in MATLAB and Tecplot360.
- Head of Chassis at UPM Racing: Led a 7-member team through the manufacturing process of the UPM05e monocoque, overseeing production and collaboration using SCRUM methodology. Managed budgets, procurement, and ensured compliance with tight deadlines, coordinating tasks with INTA's Composite Materials and Human Resources areas.
- Composite Design Engineer Intern at INTA: Collaborated on manufacturing components of the UPM 04e EVO aerodynamic package using advanced composite materials. Led production of UPM Racing's lightest-ever monocoque with a 16-member team, conducting manufacturing and testing of composite specimens.
- Vehicle Dynamics Engineer at UPM Racing: Enhanced lap time performance by simulating vehicle behavior in CarSim. Monitored car setups for data accuracy and analyzed track data to gain deeper insights into vehicle performance.
