As a Level 3 IMI Vehicle Technician, I have developed a solid foundation in automotive diagnostics, assembly, and repair that I am eager to transfer into motorsports.
My passion for motorsport, combined with my technical expertise, makes me confident that I can contribute to a team's success while continuously growing and learning within this exciting industry.
In my current role at a Volkswagen Dealership, I've had the opportunity to perform complex diagnostics, disassembly, and reassembly of automotive components, which has enhanced my mechanical skills and attention to detail. I have gained a strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems, which I know would be essential in working with race cars.
My experience troubleshooting issues under high-pressure conditions has taught me how to maintain precision and focus even in fast-paced environments-skills that I know are critical in motorsport.
Although I am still in the early stages of transitioning into motorsport, my enthusiasm for the field is supported by my participation in go-kart racing and viewing motorsport events like Formula VEE and Formula Boss. These experiences have sharpened my understanding of race car handling and dynamics, as well as my knowledge of track conditions and performance tuning.
My technical background, coupled with my ability to adapt quickly and my collaborative nature, would allow me to thrive in a team-oriented environment. I am eager to take on new challenges, contribute my knowledge, and work toward your team's goals of optimising race performance and achieving success.
My proactive approach to collaboration has fostered strong relationships with colleagues and allowed me to contribute to a cohesive, high-performing work environment.I also understand the importance of aligning with team priorities, whether it's helping to meet tight deadlines for urgent repairs or contributing to long- term project goals. Flexibility and communication are key for me in these situations, and I make a point to stay aligned with the team's objectives, adapting to any changes or challenges that may arise.
