We are growing our pool of talent for exciting new projects and are looking for Simulation Engineers with 1D and/or 3D simulation experience, combined with a passion for Engines and Powertrains. You can expect your skills to be deployed across a diverse range of racing and high performance non-racing powertrain projects. You will join a team of innovative Engineers and will work with some of the world’s top Motorsport and Automotive brands.
You should be able to demonstrate:
• At least three years post graduate experience in the field of Engine Simulation
• A good degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and IC engine systems
• Proven ability in 1D engine simulation (preferably using GT-Suite)
• Strong understanding of engine gas-exchange processes and gasoline direct injection combustion systems
• Knowledge of steady-state and transient CFD simulation of engine components (preferably Converge)
• An ability to manipulate 3D CAD and extract geometry for simulation models (preferably using Catia V5)
• Data post-processing and ability to report findings in a clear and succinct manner

You can expect to be involved in the development, calibration and optimisation of high-end powertrain components and assemblies. You will be part of an innovative team of Engineers and work with some of the world’s top Motorsport and Automotive brands.
You must be able to demonstrate:
• At least 7 years post graduate experience in the field of Engine Development
• A good degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and IC engine systems
• Knowledge of engine calibration and driveability with the ability to take this from testbed to road/track
• In depth knowledge of full engine dynamometer and sub-system rig testing
• A high level of competence in planning and executing testing activities, analysing data and reporting findings in a clear and succinct manner
• Knowledge of combustion pressure measurements and data analysis (e.g. AVL Indicom)

• A good degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and IC engine systems
• Proven ability of the design of major engine components
• In depth knowledge of engine design, manufacturing and assembly
• Highly competent in CAD modelling and drawing, (ideally but not essential in CATIA 5)
• Proficient in component structural analysis
• Strategic Customer Liaison expertise
