Key Responsibilities

  • Provide meaningful financial analysis to Controller and General Manager for effective decision- making
  • Assist in the development of effective processes and procedures within Finance and Administration
  • Preparing and consolidating financial statements
  • Reviewing monthly departmental financial results with department managers and General Manager
  • Support all group and corporate financial reporting requirements
  • Ensure internal controls are maintained and make recommendation on new internal controls
  • Providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses
  • Coordinating and assisting with the budget process
  • Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Analyzing and reporting cost variances
  • Serving as a liaison to external auditors
  • Support and encourage KAIZEN principles, concepts, and activities,
  • Perform other duties as required (i.e. special projects) and prepare Adhoc reports for Controller and upper management

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
  • ERP background in a manufacturing industry (SAP required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent critical thinking skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Power BI is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or finance
  • Preferably CPA (CA, CMA or CGA) or MBA
  • Highly skilled in math, accounting, and financial processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Highly organized and skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
